Solutions Architect

Mobica is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our global team of Solutions Architects under the CTO. 

We are looking for an engineer with a passion and talent for solving critical business challenges through innovative technical solutions, and to play a key role in building, integrating, and scaling the latest technologies for game-changing products of the future.

This role will be based in one of Mobica’s offices, with remote work as an option.

The scope and duties of the role are dynamic and continuously evolving. You should be a highly motivated individual capable of achieving excellent results individually and as an integral part of a global team. Your core responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:

• Engage regularly, both virtually and face to face, with existing and potential customers to deeply understand their business needs and technical challenges.
• Gather and cross-reference customers’ business goals, functional and non-functional requirements with feasible approaches and constraints. 
• Design creative and innovative, software-based solutions to resolve critical business challenges. This has a technical emphasis and includes architecture, implementation estimates, and development team structure for a given delivery engagement.
• Present winning technical offerings and solution proposals to internal and external stakeholders at the technical expert/engineering level through the executive level.
• Help define and shape technical strategy for the Company.
• Actively engage in thought leadership and technical outreach.
• Provide technical expertise, guidance & support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Successfully collaborate with dynamic global teams composed of sales, engineering, and experts to win new business.
• Establish an internal engineering connections network to ensure all the necessary technical talent is involved in contributions from relevant departments.
• Support the sales team and have a passion for engagement in sales campaigns.
• Work in discoveries, workshops, and assessments to define and sell the “build” engagement.

Qualifications_

• 8+ years of experience in the IT sector (SW development)
• 3+ years of hands-on development and architectural experience in one of the following domains: silicon platforms, automotive
• Superior communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences of senior stakeholders
• BS or higher advanced degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
