Senior Android Developer

We would like to invite you to join the development team working for our customer, who has a growing range of Internet-connected products, including robot vacuum cleaners and connected air purifiers.

We are developing a mobile application that is one of the key components in providing greater intelligence, understanding, and control to the connected devices. We are passionate about ensuring our app matches the same high standards.

If you are an experienced Android developer, with a passion for Computer Science and Software Engineering, including algorithms, design patterns, and software architecture principles. Additionally, If you've worked in a team delivering software using an Agile framework such as SCRUM, and you understand how to write high-quality, unit-tested Kotlin code, we are keen to hear from you.

If recruited, you will:

• Develop features for our app, ensuring they are tested, robust and scalable
• Work in Scrum team and cooperate on a daily basis with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, test engineers, UX/UI designers and software engineers
• Work alongside and help mentor other members of the team
• Identify methods, tools and approaches to help continually improve standards and quality

Qualifications_

Must-have skills:

• Deep knowledge and professional experience in native Android development, where Kotlin and Java,   
• Good familiarity with design patterns, MVVM
• Experience with RxJava, Kotlin's coroutines
• UI development with Compose experience.
• UI testing with Espresso

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with Jira/Bitbucket and Bamboo CI
