Databricks Engineer

As a Databricks Engineer, this role offers the opportunity to work with a team in building, optimizing, and maintaining data analytics solutions using Azure cloud services and the Databricks platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise on integrating Databricks with Azure and optimizing data processing workflows
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Implement DevOps practices using Azure DevOps for project management and deployment automation
• Ensure adherence to security and monitoring best practices in the production environment

Qualifications_

Must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in SQL, Python, PySpark, and Databricks
• Strong understanding of cloud services, particularly Azure Databricks and Azure SQL
• Certifications in Azure or Databricks are preferred
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proven track record of leading development teams and delivering successful projects
• Continuous learning mindset to keep up with the latest technologies and best practices

Nice to have:

• Experience with Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Azure Web Apps, .NET, Azure Functions, Azure Automation, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Event Hubs
