Software Quality Consultant

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to understand software project quality insights and consequences
  • Ability to quickly understand complex software project problems
  • Ability to establish agreed prioritization of software project quality concerns with stakeholders based on an understanding of evolving project context
  • Ability to establish clarity and understanding around software project improvement needs
  • Ability to write, review and align teams around relevant improvement stories
  • Ability to understand implications of organizational context, and identify optimal support interactions


Other Skills:

  • Ability to engage effectively with people who have various levels of seniority & understanding, to convey complex software  topics
  • Ability to distill a range of software quality information into key insights relevant to senior managers
  • Ability to secure the support of managers to enact effective escalation to resolve barriers
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with influential project stakeholders
  • Ability to identify relevant project stakeholders and interactions required
  • Ability to effectively influence key project decision makers to affect project prioritization and direction
  • Ability to oversee and maintain effective relationships with multiple project teams
