Senior Test Automation Engineer (Python/Playwright)

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to define and execute test strategies for our automated cloud-native micro-service solutions. Join us in delivering breakthrough efficiency and quality gains for over 6,000 mobility product engineers worldwide!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement test strategies for automated cloud-native microservices, enhancing performance and quality for next-generation autonomous driving solutions.
  • Design, execute, and manage performance and load testing strategies to ensure robust system performance for major car manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and operations teams to gather performance requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Develop test plans, scripts, and tools to simulate heavy traffic, complex transactions, and high-demand scenarios.
  • Analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations for system improvements.
  • Create detailed Quality Test Results Reports and advise senior management on quality trends.
Qualifications_

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or IT.
  • 10+ years of commercial experience in the testing field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior test automation role, with at least 3 years focused on non-functional testing (performance, load, backup/recovery, disaster recovery).
  • Expert knowledge of UI and API testing methods and tools.
  • Strong expertise in testing methodologies, test case development, and test automation.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or JavaScript
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, and RestAssured is essential.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Excellent English communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of Agile development processes and IT project management procedures.

Work Environment: This position allows for hybrid work mode from our Kraków office; 3 days a week in the office.
