BI Operations Engineer

We are seeking a skilled BI Operations Engineer with a passion for infrastructure management and platform support. You will be part of a collaborative team responsible for maintaining and optimizing business intelligence platforms. If you thrive in an environment where you work on server maintenance, infrastructure as a code, and backend operations, this role is for you. This position is remote in Poland.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and support backend side of Business Intelligence (BI) platforms, like: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or IBM Cognos Analytics.
• Maintain and troubleshoot network services, server processes, and platform configurations.
• Collaborate with the AWS infrastructure team for Windows and OS-level platform patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Analyze platform usage data to create pipelines and dashboards that improve performance and user experience.
• Automate maintenance processes, platform observability, and user onboarding/offboarding.
• Stay current with platform updates and security measures to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide operational support, ensuring continuity of services across global users.
• Assist with migrating and converting user reports and dashboard content between BI platforms.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to empower users and enhance platform adoption.

Qualifications_

• Proven experience working with top BI and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx or IBM Cognos).
• Strong background in infrastructure as a code, server maintenance, and platform performance optimization.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially around AWS infrastructure, to deliver seamless platform upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical skills for data extraction and the creation of pipelines to enhance platform functionality.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical users.
• A proactive approach to automating repetitive processes, improving platform observability, and maintaining security standards.
